Mechanical Maintenance Training Instructor
| Description: his position is responsible for all aspects of the MECHANICAL Maintenance Training Program. This position reports to the Supervisor, Technical Training. May hire up to a senior level based on experience and skills. This position is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the elements of the systematic approach to training for all accredited and non-accredited training programs at the Plant. This includes, but is not limited to: evaluating student feedback and management observations for critical improvement items; tracking and trending feedback on training program performance; observing and evaluating instructor performance in all training settings for which they are qualified; tracking instructor qualifications to ensure the meeting of technical and instructional job requirements; development and maintenance of training program procedures; initial instructor training; instructor continuing training; generation of monthly, quarterly and end-of-year reports on training program performance; evaluation and implementation of new INPO ACAD documents; self-assessments; benchmarking; serving as peer evaluators for self assessments at other facilities; peer networking; interfacing with INPO Senior Training Representatives; arranging for and acting as secretary of the Training Advisory Board and Training Program Committees; interfacing with senior site management on training program performance through meetings, memorandums and other forms of communication. |

| Duties/Responsibilities: --Ensuring that the Mechanical Maintenance Training Program is administered in accordance with the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process --Maintain program and processes required by 10CFR50.120 and associated INPO Academy documents --Ensuring quality lesson materials, student handouts, and qualification checkout cards are developed and maintained. This individual is responsible for maintenance of the Mechanical Task List, Cross Reference Matrices and Exam Banks --Development and maintenance of training materials to include lesson plans, laboratory exercises, exam banks, task and needs analysis, and PowerPoint presentations. --Participate and support training assessments, plant performance improvements, and shared resource program. --Maintain training program documents, procedures and records. --Meeting site-training needs while satisfying accreditation objectives and criteria, corporate goals, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements associated with the Mechanical Maintenance Training Program. --Providing timely input into the Technical Training Unit's budget and business plan to ensure resources required to conduct scheduled training are identified and available --The incumbent will obtain/maintain an instructor certification and technical qualifications. --Manage various training related projects --Qualify and maintain qualification for Emergency Response Organization (ERO) position --Support Robinson Nuclear Plant outages |

| Qualifications: Four-year degree and five years experience in nuclear Mechanical Maintenance or training, -or- Two-year degree and seven years experience in nuclear Mechanical Maintenance or training , -or- High School diploma or equivalent and nine years experience in nuclear Mechanical Maintenance or training. Minimum requirements: --Two years experience in the conduct of related technical training using a Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) based program. --Excellent written and oral presentation skills. --Some supervisory or independent project management experience is highly desired. --Computer software skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. |
